Target size, orientation, metal type, ground conditions and nearby interference all change the result, so we would choose the XTREM HUNTER for the size of the targets you are after rather than for the advertised maximum depth. A strong signal several feet down could be a large iron object, buried metal infrastructure or another substantial metal mass, and the XTREM HUNTER cannot establish what it is or whether it has any historical value.
