The Gold Monster 1000 includes two search coils: a GM 10 (10" x 6" Double-D) coil for general detecting and deeper targets, and a GM 05 (5" Double-D) coil for better target separation in trashy areas and detecting smaller targets. The larger coil provides greater depth and ground coverage, while the smaller coil offers better maneuverability in tight spaces and higher sensitivity to small gold nuggets. Both coils feature Minelab's Double-D configuration for superior ground balance performance.
