The XTREM Hunter isn't designed for typical gold prospecting since it's optimized for large, deep targets rather than small gold nuggets or flakes. For gold prospecting, you'd want a high-frequency detector that can detect smaller targets near the surface. Take a look at our specialized Gold Metal Detectors collection for equipment better suited to finding gold nuggets and fine gold.
