Yes - sensitivity to small nuggets in highly mineralized ground is specifically what the GPX 6000 is designed for. GeoSense-PI technology targets the detection of small gold in conditions where VLF machines lose sensitivity to noise. The actual minimum detectable nugget size depends on ground conditions and coil size - smaller coils (including the 14" round monoloop that ships with the machine) improve sensitivity to small targets in moderately mineralized conditions. For maximum fine-gold sensitivity in difficult ground, coil selection matters as much as the machine. See available coils.
