Yes - the Nokta Legend metal detector is fully waterproof to 10 feet (approximately 3 meters). This covers surf wading, river hunting, and hunting in heavy rain. The entire machine - control box, shaft, and coil - is submersible at this rating. For deeper underwater work, the XP DEUS II at 65 feet is the machine.
