Yes - the XP DEUS II is waterproof to 65 feet on every component: the remote, the coil, and the WS6 Master headphones. This makes it one of the few full-performance metal detectors rated for actual snorkeling and shallow scuba detecting. For deeper dive work, the Garrett Sea Hunter MkII is purpose-built at 200+ feet with pulse induction technology. Most beach and river hunters do not need 65-foot rating - 10-foot waterproofing covers surf wading and river hunting. But for actual dive detecting, the DEUS II is the highest-performing option.
