Yes - the XP DEUS II is fully waterproof to 65 feet on all components including the remote, coil, and WS6 Master headphones. This makes it one of the very few full-performance metal detectors genuinely rated for snorkeling and shallow scuba dive detecting. For deeper dive work beyond 65 feet, the Garrett Sea Hunter MkII at 200+ feet is the purpose-built option. Most beach and river hunters do not need 65-foot waterproofing - 10 feet covers surf wading and river work - but for actual dive detecting, the DEUS II delivers genuine capability.
