The Fisher Gold Bug Pro runs at 19 kHz and is the more versatile machine - capable on gold prospecting sites and general detecting with a solid ground balance system for mineralized conditions. The Fisher Gold Bug 2 runs at a significantly higher frequency for maximum sensitivity to the finest gold, but is a more specialized machine with less general-purpose capability.
