Absolutely - it is the accessory most experienced hunters say has the highest impact on finds per hour. Without a pinpointer, you probe and dig until you find the target by feel; a good signal can take 3-5 minutes to recover. With a pinpointer, you open the hole, probe with the pinpointer, and have the target in hand in 20-30 seconds. Over a full detecting session, that time savings translates directly to more targets checked and more finds recovered. If you are detecting without a pinpointer, it is the first upgrade to make before considering a detector upgrade. See all pinpointers.
