The Minelab Equinox 800 uses the WM08 wireless audio module (included with the machine) which is compatible with specific Minelab headphones designed for zero-latency wireless operation. It also has a standard 1/8" headphone jack for wired use with any standard headphones. Generic Bluetooth headphones are not recommended due to latency. The Minelab ML 80 and ML 85 wireless headphones are the purpose-built options for the Equinox series. Wired third-party headphones with a 1/8" plug work fine through the jack.
