The Gold Monster 1000 finds gold nuggets, gold jewelry, and fine gold in moderate goldfield conditions. At 45 kHz, it is sensitive to small nuggets that lower-frequency machines miss. In heavily mineralized ground where VLF technology hits its limits, it will lose some depth and sensitivity compared to pulse induction machines like the GPX 6000. For most prospecting situations in typical goldfield conditions, it finds the gold that is there.
