No - the AlgoForce E1500 Plus uses a different detection technology from conventional pulse induction. It is positioned between VLF gold detectors and full PI machines in both technology and price. It handles more challenging mineralization than standard high-frequency VLF gold detectors but does not have the full ground mineralization immunity of pulse induction machines like the Minelab GPX 6000. For highly mineralized goldfields where VLF completely fails, a PI machine remains the right tool. The AlgoForce fills a gap between the two technology categories.
