The PulseDive's lost alarm activates after 5 minutes of inactivity, emitting a beeping sound and flashing the LED indicator to help you locate the unit if you drop it during a dive or set it down and lose track of it. This feature is useful when you're 50 feet down and the unit drifts away from your position, or when you're working a crowded beach and set the detector aside while digging a target.
