The WS6 ST headphones are compatible with all XP Deus II metal detectors running firmware version 4.0 or later. You'll need to update your detector to V4 through the XP software before pairing the WS6 ST, as earlier firmware versions don't support the advanced signal processing and control features built into this headphone model. The update is free and available through XP software via USB connection. Once updated, the WS6 ST pairs with any Deus II coil (22.5cm, 28cm, or 34x28cm) and works in all three configurations: slave to the remote, master with a secondary wireless headphone, or master standalone clipped directly to the coil.
