The Nokta LD22 9-inch coil is compatible exclusively with the Legend 2 metal detector and will not fit the original Legend. The LD22 uses a different mounting system than original Legend coils. Original Legend coils are not compatible with Legend 2. The LD22 is designed for Legend 2 detectors and cannot physically attach to the original Legend's lower rod.
