The SC24 package includes the 9.5" x 6" waterproof DD search coil with an attached cable. If you want a coil cover to protect the housing from rocks and abrasion, you'll need to order that separately. Installation takes less than a minute: remove your stock coil's mounting bolt, slide the SC24 into the lower stem bracket, tighten the bolt, and plug the cable into the detector's coil port. The coil is ready to hunt as soon as you attach it.
