The SX24 coil's weight is not specified in the manufacturer documentation, but the 9.5x6" semi-elliptical design is noticeably heavier than the stock Simplex coil due to its larger size and DD winding configuration. The added weight is most noticeable during long hunts when you're swinging the coil for several hours. Most detectorists find the weight manageable, and the depth and coverage gains outweigh the fatigue tradeoff. If arm fatigue is a concern, consider using a detector harness or adjusting your swing technique to reduce strain.
