The RC29 ships with a protective coil cover and all necessary mounting hardware in the box. The protective cover shields the coil from wear when you're sweeping over rocks, gravel, or concrete. It also reduces noise from the coil bumping vegetation or debris. We recommend installing the cover before your first hunt because replacing a scuffed coil housing is more expensive than replacing a worn cover. The included cover is Nokta's OEM part designed specifically for the 11x7 elliptical shape, so it fits snugly without gaps that could trap sand or dirt.
