The XP ORX does not include headphones in the base package with the 9-inch X35 coil. XP sells the WS Audio compact wireless headphone receiver separately, which pairs with the ORX's wireless system for cable-free operation. The WS Audio headphones communicate via the same digital radio link as the coil and remote, so you won't need adapters or wired connections. XP offers wired headphone options as accessories. The ORX's remote control has a built-in speaker for audio feedback if you choose to hunt without headphones, though you'll hear faint signals more clearly with a headset in noisy environments.
