The XP ORX carries a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. XP also certifies the ORX as LONGTIME, meaning the detector is designed for long-term use and serviceability with replaceable components and ongoing firmware support. The lithium batteries in the coil and remote are covered by a separate 2-year warranty. Warranty service is handled through authorized XP dealers, and Serious Detecting processes warranty claims directly with XP's US service center. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, submersion of the non-waterproof remote control, or modifications to the detector's electronics.
