The XP ICON's coil and lower shaft are waterproof to 6 feet, and the control housing is splash-resistant, so you can hunt wet sand, shallow surf, and rain without damage. For full underwater detecting beyond 6 feet, XP offers an optional bone conduction headset rated IP68 to the same depth. The standard WSA ST headphones included with this package are not submersible.
