The XP ICON offers PWM and SQUARE audio types with stereo audio morphing, plus Pitch, 2-tone, 3-tone, 5-tone, and Full Tones modes. Full Tones assigns a unique pitch to each of the 28 discrimination segments, so you can hear the difference between a zinc penny and a copper memorial cent or between a nickel and a pull tab before you dig. The stereo morphing feature pans the audio left or right based on target position under the coil, helping you pinpoint without switching to a dedicated pinpoint mode.
