XGB is Garrett's auto-tracking ground balance system on the Goldmaster 24k. It samples ground signal continuously and updates the balance point so the gain you set stays useful instead of drifting into noise as soil mineralization shifts. Detectorists who came up on manual-balance VLFs notice the largest change here, because pump-and-hold re-tuning is no longer required every few sweeps. Ground-Sync and TracLock give manual override when needed: tap Ground-Sync to grab a fresh balance over a clean patch, then TracLock to hold that balance through a hot section without the system chasing it.
