The ACE Apex offers six detection modes: Zero, Coins, US Coins, Jewelry, Relics, and Custom. Zero mode is an all-metal mode with no discrimination, useful for relic hunting and pinpointing. US Coins mode displays quarter and penny icons below the notch scale when the detector identifies those targets, speeding up dig decisions in parks. Jewelry mode opens discrimination to accept small gold and low-conductors. Relics mode is tuned for deep iron and brass. Custom mode lets you save your own discrimination pattern and frequency selection. Each mode pairs with any of the six frequency options.
