Mount the IM24 coil by aligning the coil ears with the lower shaft bracket on the Impact, inserting the bolt through both ears and the bracket, and tightening the included hardware until the coil sits firmly without play. The package includes all mounting hardware needed to attach the coil securely to the Impact lower shaft. Route the coil cable along the shaft and secure it with cable ties or Velcro straps to prevent snagging on brush. Connect the coil cable to the control box following the detector's standard connection procedure. Verify the coil sits parallel to the ground when the shaft is adjusted to your height for optimal detection performance.
