The 5.5-inch PulseDive scuba coil is waterproof to 200 feet depth, which covers recreational scuba diving limits and most freshwater lake thermoclines. This depth rating applies to the coil assembly only; the PulseDive detector body has its own depth specification that you must verify separately. We've used this coil at 60-foot depths on Gulf Coast wreck dives and 80-foot depths in Tennessee reservoir searches without leakage or performance degradation. The O-ring seals and connector housing maintain integrity under pressure when properly maintained.
