The XP Deus II is fully waterproof to 66 feet (20 meters) with an IP68 rating, making it suitable for diving and underwater metal detecting. The remote control, 9" FMF coil, and optional bone conduction headphones (BH-01) are all rated for submersion to this depth. You must attach the included aerial antenna to the coil when detecting underwater to maintain wireless communication between components.
