The WSA-XL ST uses a lithium battery backed by a 2-year guarantee. XP states that the headset supports all-day detecting on a single charge under typical field conditions. The headset charges fully via USB Type-C in just 2 hours. A built-in LED indicator displays your remaining battery life upon powering up: three flashes indicate 100%, two flashes mean 60%, and one flash indicates 30%. To preserve power when you are away from your detector, an integrated auto power-off feature automatically shuts the headset down after 5 minutes if no controller is paired.
