The DEUS II's coil, lower stem, and remote control are waterproof to 66 feet (20 meters) when the aerial antenna is attached to the coil. The WS6 headphones are rain-proof but not submersible, so for underwater hunting you'll need to pair the detector with XP's BH-01 bone conduction headphones (sold separately), which are rated IP68 to 20 meters. The remote's over-molded rubber housing and stainless steel charging connector are designed for wet conditions, and we've run the detector in surf zones and shallow creeks without seal failures.
