The new-version XP Deus 9-inch coil has a longer XP logo that runs from the tip of the coil nearly to the coil ears, while the old-version coil has a shorter logo positioned closer to the center. Look at the top surface of your coil: if the logo extends most of the length toward the mounting ears, you have the new version and this cover will fit. If the logo is compact and centered, you have the older style and need a different cover. The housing design also differs between versions, so the extended logo is the most reliable visual identifier for compatibility.
