Stem mounting the WS4 or WS6 display shifts the detector's balance point slightly rearward compared to wearing the headphones on your head, as the module's weight moves from your head to the upper shaft. Most detectorists adapt to the new balance within the first 20 minutes of a hunt, and the weight redistribution often reduces arm fatigue during long sessions by moving mass closer to your grip hand.
