Yes, you can use any combination of the three Mini B connectors on this cable, and unused connectors can remain unplugged without affecting charging performance on the connected components. The cable's three connectors allow flexible charging of one, two, or all three components as needed. If you only need to charge the headphones and remote, plug those two connectors in and leave the third connector free. We often charge only the headphones and coil when the remote still has sufficient battery remaining from the previous hunt.
