No, this USB 3 Mini B cable is designed exclusively for charging and does not support data transfer or firmware updates. XP DEUS and ORX firmware updates require a separate USB update cable sold by XP Metal Detectors that connects to the remote control and communicates with XP's update software. This cable is for charging only. If you need to update your detector's firmware, you must purchase the dedicated XP update cable in addition to this charging cable.
