Yes, this battery works with the XP ORX when you're using the 9-inch HF coil or the HF Elliptical coil on that detector. The ORX shares the same wireless coil platform as the Deus, so any high frequency coil compatible with the Deus will also work with the ORX. The battery connects to the coil's charging port and delivers the same 20-hour runtime regardless of which control unit you're running. If you're using a standard frequency coil on your ORX, this battery will not fit.
