FMF (Fast Multi-Frequency) mode transmits multiple frequencies simultaneously to improve target separation, depth, and ground balance across varying soil types. Eleven of the Deus II's 12 factory programs use FMF with different frequency combinations optimized for land or saltwater conditions. The Deus Mono program (program 7) operates on a single adjustable frequency from 4 to 45 kHz. This reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) in urban areas where multiple simultaneous frequencies might cause instability, allowing you to isolate specific targets like small gold jewelry at 40 kHz or deep silver coins at 8 kHz.
