The Deus II remote stores 12 user-configurable programs in addition to the 12 factory programs, giving you 24 total program slots. User programs let you save custom settings for specific sites: a low-reactivity, high-sensitivity setup for deep silver in open fields, a high-reactivity, narrow discrimination window for tot lots, or an all-metal configuration with manual ground balance for gold prospecting. Each user program retains your frequency selection (FMF or mono), audio mode (pitch, full tones, or multi-tones), discrimination pattern, sensitivity, reactivity, and ground-balance method. Access the user programs through the remote's menu system, and name each one (up to eight characters) for quick identification in the field.
