The aerial antenna (waveguide) clips to the search coil cover on the same side as the coil's battery terminals using the supplied plastic support clip and O-rings. Remove the adhesive backing from the support clip, position it on the coil cover near the cable exit point, and press firmly to secure. Thread the coaxial cable along the detector shaft using the additional support clips (you get three total), and route the cable to the waterproof armband on your forearm or to the stem-mounted remote depending on your immersion depth. The O-rings attach the antenna securely to the coil so it doesn't shift during recovery swings. The kit includes mounting hardware for coil-mount, stem-mount, and armband-mount configurations.
