The lost-pinpointer recovery mode allows you to locate a misplaced MI-6 even if it has been switched off for weeks. Activate research mode from the Deus II, Deus, or ORX menu, and the detector sends a wireless signal that triggers an alarm on the MI-6. The alarm sounds even when the pinpointer's battery is depleted or the unit has been off for an extended period. This feature is a safeguard in tall grass, brush, or overgrown relic fields where a dropped pinpointer is difficult to spot visually.
