The MI-6's rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to 90 hours of use per charge. Actual runtime depends on sensitivity level, audio mode (pitch or pulse), and if the LED and vibrator are enabled. The detector's remote control displays the MI-6's battery level when the units are wirelessly linked, and the pinpointer charges via the included USB cable. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
