Clean sand and mud from the XP Deus 9.5" elliptical coil cover by rinsing it with fresh water after each hunt. The grid pattern can trap sand, shells, and small pebbles, so use a soft brush or your fingers to work debris out of the recessed areas while rinsing. For saltwater beach hunts, soak the cover in fresh water for a few minutes to dissolve salt crystals before brushing. Avoid high-pressure hoses that could force debris between the cover and coil housing. Let the cover air-dry before storage to prevent moisture from accumulating between the cover and coil.
