The Gold program is optimized for slightly mineralized ground and offers high sensitivity to medium and large gold targets, making it suitable for less challenging soil conditions. The Fine Gold program is calibrated for very mineralized ground and prioritizes sensitivity to small and medium gold targets, allowing prospectors to detect smaller nuggets in heavily mineralized environments. Prospectors working variable terrain often start with Gold mode and switch to Fine Gold when ground noise increases or when targeting smaller nuggets in hot ground conditions. Both programs are factory-preset and ready to use immediately upon powering on the ORX remote control.
