We run this cap through cold-water washes after particularly dirty hunts, and the white piping returns to its original brightness without fading the black panels. The white piping is a design detail that matches the DEUS detector's aesthetic, and the contrast makes the cap visible in a gear bag when you're sorting through equipment.
