The DEUS cap is made from cotton, which absorbs moisture rather than repelling it, so it's not ideal for extended wear in rain or during water hunts. Cotton breathes well in dry heat but becomes heavy and uncomfortable when saturated. We wear this cap during beach hunts in dry conditions and open-field relic sessions where rain isn't a factor. If you hunt in wet environments regularly, a synthetic moisture-wicking cap or a waterproof hat would be a better choice. The DEUS cap is best suited for sunny or overcast conditions where breathability and sun protection are the priorities.
