The four panning zones on the XP pan handle different material sizes during the classification process. Large riffles in the outer zone clear coarse gravel and pebbles quickly without losing nuggets. Mini riffles in the second zone separate fine sand from heavier concentrate. The Snake Skin textured zone traps flour gold during the final wash stage.
