The XP 15-inch classifier has a 37cm diameter and works over standard prospecting buckets. The rim rests on the bucket edge, and the dual handles keep the classifier stable while you shake gravel through the mesh. If you're using a smaller bucket, the classifier will overhang the rim, but you can still use it by supporting the pan with one hand while sieving. The large diameter is an advantage when processing high volumes of material, because you can load more gravel per shake and move through your sample faster.
