The ML105 maintains a stable wireless connection up to 30 feet from your detector. This range is useful for beach hunts where you set the control box on a towel or rock while you work a grid, or for competition events where you want to move freely without a cable tether. Walls, metal structures, and other wireless devices can reduce the effective range, but in open field conditions the 30-foot spec holds. The connection resumes automatically when you move back within range after stepping too far from the detector. For detectorists working the Minelab metal detectors lineup, the ML105's wireless range is one of the longest in the Minelab accessory catalog.
