The WS4 can control the XP Deus without the remote control, giving you access to all primary detector settings directly from the headset. You can adjust sensitivity, discrimination, ground balance, frequency selection across 35 steps from 3.7 to 27.7 kHz, audio response modes (1, 2, 3, 4-tone, full tones, and pitch), reactivity, TX power, tracking, frequency offset, and iron volume. The headset also displays target conductivity readings and battery status for both the headset and coil. This lets you run the Deus in a lighter configuration when you don't need the remote's advanced features or prefer to keep your setup minimal.
