The WS4 earpiece detaches from the backphone with a single press, letting you use the control module separately. Once detached, you can mount the earpiece on the detector shaft using XP's optional shaft bracket, wear it on your wrist with XP's optional wrist strap, or carry it in a pocket. This configuration lets you pair the WS4 control module with wired headphones via XP's optional Clip Jack adapter, useful for cold-weather hunts where you want insulated over-ear headphones or high-noise environments where isolation matters.
