The Gold Cube 4 Stack Deluxe Complete Kit requires a 12-volt DC power source to operate the water pump. You have several power options:
- 12V deep cycle marine battery - Most popular choice for field use (not included)
- Car battery - Can power the unit in a pinch
- 12V power supply/converter - For home use with standard AC outlet
- Solar panel with battery - For remote locations
The pump draws approximately 3-5 amps, so a standard deep cycle marine battery will run the Gold Cube for a full day of prospecting. We recommend a battery with at least 50 amp-hours for extended use.
