Quest Bags, Pouches and Holsters

Quest bags, pouches and holsters keep your pinpointer, digger and finds on you while you hunt. The Quest Drop Leg Pouch and Holster is a Cordura thigh rig with drainage grommets that holds the Quest XPointer, the Garrett Pro-Pointer and Pro-Pointer AT, the Minelab PRO-FIND 25, the White's Bullseye TRX and similar-size pinpointers, with side pockets for a probe and a digging knife. The digital camo Finds Pouch has a 10 inch deep zippered main pocket, an inside treasure pocket and a belt that fits waists up to 48 inch. The Quest Logo Waist Bag adds PALS webbing, and the Diamond Digger Sheath fits both the right and left serrated Quest Diamond Digger.

Quest Carry Gear for the Dig

Every item on this page is Quest carry gear built around recovery: one holster, two belt bags for finds and one sheath. They keep the tools you reach for after every signal, the pinpointer and the digger, where your hand falls, and they give trash and keepers separate homes so nothing goes back in the hole.

The quickest way to choose is to start from what you carry. If the pinpointer is the item you lose most, start with the drop leg holster. If you want one place for finds and trash, look at the Finds Pouch or the Logo Waist Bag. If you dig with a Quest Diamond Digger, the sheath keeps the blade covered on your belt.

Quest Drop Leg Pouch and Holster

The Quest Drop Leg Pouch and Holster straps to your thigh, so the pinpointer sits where your hand drops after you cut a plug, not behind you on a belt. It is heavy-duty Cordura with reinforced stitching, in orange and black, with drainage grommets in the bottom panel that let water and sand out after a beach or creek recovery. Adjustable leg straps with quick-release buckles and a belt strap hold it in place, and the straps go over jeans, field pants or waders.

The main holster fits the Quest XPointer, the Garrett Pro-Pointer and Pro-Pointer AT, the Minelab PRO-FIND 25, the White's Bullseye TRX and pinpointers of a similar size, so it suits whatever pinpointer you already own. Side pockets take a handheld probe and a digging knife, which puts your whole recovery kit on one rig.

Finds Pouch and Waist Bag

The Quest Digital Camo Finds Pouch has two compartments: a 10 inch deep zippered main pocket for trash and common finds, and a zippered treasure pocket inside for the keepers. A MOLLE-type webbing grid on the outside takes a pinpointer, digging tool or sheath, and the pouch comes with its own adjustable belt for waists up to 48 inch. It weighs about 0.5 lb.

The Quest Logo Waist Bag has a large opening, a flat pocket and an expandable gusseted pocket, so you can keep finds apart from your phone, keys and snacks. PALS webbing on the front and sides holds a digger or pinpointer, and the belt adjusts. It is made of nylon and polyester.

Quest Diamond Digger Sheath

The Quest Diamond Digger Sheath fits both the right and left serrated Quest Diamond Digger and holds the handle with a retaining loop. It measures 12.5 x 3.5 x 0.75 inch, its belt loop is about 3.25 inch, and it is black and orange with the Quest Metal Detectors logo embroidered on it.

Complete Your Recovery Kit

Carry gear works best with the tools it is made for. We recommend a Quest XPointer pinpointer for the holster and a digger for the sheath or webbing. Because these items go on you and not on the detector, they work with any brand. Browse the Quest collection for detectors and parts, or all carry bags and pouches for other brands.

Does the Quest Diamond Digger Sheath fit other diggers?

The Quest Diamond Digger Sheath is made for the Quest Diamond Digger and fits both the right and left serrated versions. It measures 12.5 x 3.5 x 0.75 inch with a belt loop of about 3.25 inch, so another hand digger fits only if its blade and handle are no larger. For a different digger, call or email us with its size.
